General Conditions of use
- No alcohol is permitted on the premises unless form 13 has been filed and approved by the Lara Community Centre Inc.
- Maximum of 150 people in the building at any one time
- No Smoking is permitted in the building; on the decks or in Playground Area.
Smoking only permitted in designated area/s - (Front of building) - These premises are under constant Video Surveillance
Before Leaving
- Air conditioning/Heating to be turned off
- Stove, oven and any kitchen equipment to be turned off
- Sliding doors and windows to be closed and locked
- Building to be cleaned thoroughly and furniture to be returned to its proper location
- Switch on alarm and lock front door
Energy Saving Building Design
- Lights will turn off in the offices, kitchen, hallway and store room if no movement is detected for 15 minutes.
- Toilet lights and fans will become active automatically when movement is detected
- Rain water tanks are used for flushing of toilets. Note, the pumps will not operate during a power failure.
- Energy saving lights and solar panels are used to conserve energy.
- To conserve power, only turn on the heating and cooling units when required.
